Overview

Parsons first international project was a groundwater resources survey for Taiwan in 1949. Since then, we have worked in more than 90 countries, often in remote areas of the world lacking a skilled labor force and under adverse conditions requiring extensive infrastructure facilities to support construction personnel. We can mobilize work forces worldwide in support of natural and man-made disasters: floods in the Philippines; hurricanes in Guam; American Samoa, and the Virgin Islands; and the aftermath of war and civil unrest in Bosnia, Vietnam, Kuwait, and Iraq.

Support for many of these projects, whether they're in grass root remote areas or within urban locations, require housekeeping and other temporary construction facilities. Parsons provides fully self-contained facilities including camp accommodations with supporting structures, i.e. first-aid, recreation, water and sewage treatment plants, portable power generation, offices, and warehouse/shop buildings.

Our professionals understand local and national procedures and regulations. We recognize the importance of using the time-tested local processes, procedures and standards in construction. Our strong international experience confirms that local customs, materials, and standards offer the most economic and highest construction quality.

Worldwide project experience includes transportation, modular construction, infrastructure, water and wastewater treatment, UXO clearance, nuclear and special systems facilities, environmental services, mining and airports.
